Students’ Union
City St George’s Students’ Union (CSGSU) works to improve the experience of City students. It provides:
Representation: Students elect Union officers who then represent student interests at City St George’s
Societies: There are over 100 societies to join to develop your interests which could also be a great way of meeting people with similar interests to you
Activities: The SU run a range of events and activities for students
Advice: The SU provides independent advice on academic procedures including extenuating circumstances applications, academic misconduct, allegations and appeals
Academic Skills Team
The Academic Skills team can help with:
• Study skills, including reading strategies and essay planning
• Writing skills
• Meeting assessment criteria
• Time management
• Revision and exam techniques.
The team offers appointments for one-to-one academic skills tutorials to all City St George’s students.
