City St George’s has three different campuses. The main campus in Clerkenwell and our Moorgate campus are fairly close to one another, while the Tooting campus is further away. Which campus you will spend most of your time on will depend upon your course.

City St George’s main campus is in Northampton Square. This is called the Clerkenwell campus, as Clerkenwell is the area of London it’s in. This is where most of the central university services are based, including the Library, the Students Union, and Student Health and Wellbeing. There are places to eat and drink here, and the CitySport gym is nearby.

Not far away is the Moorgate campus. This is located in the City of London financial district. Moorgate is where the Bayes Business School is based. It’s about a 25 minute walk from Northampton Square, or a 15 minute bus.

The Tooting campus is in Tooting in South London, on the same site as St George’s hospital. The Tooting campus is where students studying medicine and some related courses will be based. If you need to travel between the Tooting and Clerkenwell campuses, it takes about an hour on the Northern Line from Angel tube station to Tooting Broadway.

While you will likely find yourself primarily based in one campus, your teaching may take place in a variety of locations across the University. You can see our campus map here: Find City • City, University of London

The campus is bigger than you might be used to at school or college, and it is common for new students to find it difficult to find their way around at first. Some of your teaching might be on a different campus, and you may need to travel between campuses. Becoming familiar with key buildings and locations before you arrive can be a good way to prepare for life at university. Use tools like Google Maps or Citymapper to plan public transport routes.
